Globaler Wertewandel
Mit der gegenwärtigen Finanzmarktkrise ist es wie mit einem grossen Schiff:
"Eine kleine Schraube sitzt in einem riesigen Schiff mit tausend anderen
Schrauben und hält zwei Stahlplatten zusammen. Eines Tages sagt die
Schraube: 'Ich will es mir ein bisschen bequem machen; das ist meine eigene
Sache und geht niemand etwas an!' Aber als die anderen Schrauben hören, dass
da eine etwas locker werden will, da protestieren sie und rufen: 'Bist du
verrückt? Wenn du herausfällst, dann wird es nicht lange dauern, bis auch
wir herausfallen.'
In Windeseile geht das Gerücht durch das ganze Schiff: 'Die kleine Schraube
hat was vor!' Alles ist entsetzt. Der riesige Körper des Schiffes ächzt und
bebt in allen Fugen. Und alle Rippen, Platten und Schrauben senden eine
gemeinsame Botschaft an die kleine Schraube und bitten sie, nur ja an ihrer
Stelle zu bleiben, sonst werde das ganze Schiff untergehen, und keiner werde
den Hafen erreichen. (nach Willi Hoffsümmer)
In der Realität wurde die gemeinsame Botschaft leider von einigen
Schrauben nicht gehört. Sie schlugen die Warnungen und Bedenken in den
Wind. Sie haben sich aus dem Ganzen gelöst und ihre eigene Sache gemacht
die nun uns alle angeht! Sie haben sich masslos bereichert - alle anderen
aber müssen die Suppe auslöffeln.
Wie jede Krise setzt auch die Finanzmarktkrise neue Möglichkeiten und
Chancen frei. Es kommt darauf an, welche Bedeutung wir ihr geben. Wie wir
sie bewerten. Und was wir bereit sind daraus zu lernen.
Von verschiedenen Seiten wird angesichts dieser globalen Krise auch ein
globales Umdenken gefordert ein Wandel derjenigen Werte, die das
wirtschaftliche, politische aber auch das persönliche Handeln bestimmen.
Für den Soziologen Mathias Greffrath zum Beispiel hat die westliche Welt den
Ruf nach mehr Gerechtigkeit bisher stets mit mehr Konsum für immer mehr
Menschen beantwortet. Der innere Frieden in den Ländern der Welt aber werde
davon abhängen, ob es gelingt, die gesellschaftlich gültigen Vorstellungen
über Lebensqualität und die eingebrannte Erwartung ständig steigenden
Konsums zu entkoppeln.
Nach dem Soziologen Ulrich Beck braucht es ein neues Denken, das die Frage
der Gerechtigkeit nicht mehr nur im engen nationalen Rahmen sieht. Europa
sei ein gutes Beispiel dafür, wie aus Feinden Nachbarn wurden. Eine
dauerhafte kosmopolitische Kooperation über alle Grenzen hinweg sei
notwendig - hin zu einer globalen Gerechtigkeit: Man muss die Perspektive
des anderen einbeziehen, um im eigenen Bereich Fortschritte zu erzielen.
Vom Apostel Paulus kennen wir die globale Vision:
Durch den einen Geist wurden wir in der Taufe alle in einen einzigen Leib
aufgenommen, Juden und Griechen, Sklaven und Freie; und alle wurden wir mit
dem einen Geist erfüllt... Er wollte, dass es keine Uneinigkeit im Leib
gibt, sondern jeder Teil sich um den anderen kümmert. Wenn irgendein Teil
des Körpers leidet, leiden alle anderen mit. Und wenn irgendein Teil geehrt
wird, freuen sich alle anderen mit. (1Kor 12,13.25f)
